This suspense comedy demonstrates that government bureaucracy is incompetent at combatting terrorism and that virtually everything they do to prevent it is misguided. In this fast-moving story a well-intentioned federal agent enlists the help of the gun-toting madam of a legal Nevada brothel (Nichelle Nichols, the original Lt. Uhura) and several of her prostitutes to pierce an al-Qaeda plot. (Christian fundamentalists offended by the idea of Patriotic Prostitutes saving the country from an al-Qaeda plot should re-read the Old Testament story of the prostitute, Rahab, without whose help the Israelites would have lost the Battle of Jericho.)

Inspired by a biography of Che Guevara that he reads and then translates into Farsi, Iranian businessman Alireza Rofougaran embarks on a four-year odyssey through Latin American and Europe, movie camera in hand, to retrace Che's footsteps. In an effort to gain a greater personal understanding of Che, he interviews many of the late revolutionary's surviving friends and foes. In the process, Alireza gains new insights into his own life. Viewing the myth of Che Guevara with an eye to his own society, Alireza realizes the peculiarity of such a cross-cultural inspiration. Upon returning to Iran, he witnesses how the same cross cultural enthusiasm among his countrymen gives rise to an open controversy. Throughout the film, there is a process of change as Alireza finds himself confronted by the professional challenges posed by his new endeavor and his own obsessive commitment to fulfilling the project.

This film presents the history of "sea steading," the building of viable libertarian societies at sea as sovereign, non-governmental, laissez faire communities. It is the story of three individuals from The Seasteading Institute, an organization whose mission is to secede from America by building floating micro-countries on the vast oceans. With a mixture of both politics and engineering, these white-collar revolutionaries want to change the world.
